この規定は，主として内燃機関の冷却系統及び自動車の暖房系統に雰囲気200℃ 以下で使用する直管のウォーターホース(以下ホースという。)について規定する。

備考１． 曲管，異径又は継手金具付きホースの内径・肉厚等の基本事項についても，この規格に準拠すること。

2. この規格の中で用いる単位及び数値は，国際単位系（ＳＩ）によるものであり，{ }を付けて示し てある単位及び数値は，従来単位によるものであって参考として併記したものである。

This standard covers straight water hoses mainly used at ambient temperatures not higher than 200°C in the cooling system of internal combustion engines and the heating system of automobiles (hereinafter called “hose”).

Remarks 1. Basic properties of curved hoses, hoses with end fittings and other hoses of special shape, such as the inside diameter and wall thickness, shall comply with this standard.

2. In this standard, the units and numeral values are in accordance with International System of Units (SI) and those enclosed in braces { } are in accordance with conventional systems of units, appended for reference.
